The Scoobies on Christmas Eve

Velma:  What are you talking about, “Naughty List”?  There ain’t no stinkin’ Naughty List.

Daphne:  Look, Velma — there are new ornaments on the tree.  I’m taller, do you think I can reach them?

Velma:  No, but there might be more than chestnuts roasting if we mess with those, because Dan Antion made them.

Daphne:  Chestnuts roasting?  Is that some kind of chicken breast?  Seriously?  No meat at all?

Daphne:  What’s a can-can?  Those men are talking about can-can.

Velma:  I don’t know, but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that it’s not about cans of delicious paté.

Velma:  Come on, Yummy Human — we need something with a beat.   What about the Beatles?  Har-har-har… I made a joke.

Happy Christmas Eve, and a very merry Christmas.  Hugs!

  1. Merry Christmas Teagan! (& Scoobies- please don’t eat the ornaments Dan made… and tinsel will cause problems!))

It’s Boxing Day now, and soon it will be a Happy New Year.

Have a wonderful day, every day, Teagan! I don’t need to wish that for the Scoobies. I know their everyday is fabulous, because they have you.

Hugs! (PS Misha wants to know if Daphne and Velma need any extra fur balls?)

    1. Merry After-Christmas, dear Resa. Oh-oh… Misha’s having hairball troubles? Some kitties get really miserable when they have them… others barf and go straight back to the food bowl. Daphne gets them. She won’t eat the hairball paste, and the other chew-type remedies don’t seem to be as effective. Her weight is an issue… and to think that I used to be worried to death because she was too thin… Anyhow whenever I try to make any food change to address her weight, Velma is the one who loses, and she’s already slim. Meanwhile Daphne doesn’t lose. Poor girl — I can relate. My tree and room was all virtual. I had too much back pain to do any decorating this year. But I still gave them their little Christmas. 🐱 Hugs winging back to you and yours.

  2. Simply delightful. Love the Christmas Cancan and those new ornaments are something else! I hope you and the Scoobies had a super time. Ours was quiet and not stressful. Love and hugs from Casa Foster.

    1. LOL, they really are very good girls, Dan — thank you. I hope it’s been a lovely Christmas Eve there, and that tomorrow is even better. Our high temperature was at least 73 degrees F, and that’s with it being unusually cloudy. No telling how hot it would have gotten without the clouds. The same predicted tomorrow. Santa is still wearing shorts and a tank top. It doesn’t feel like Christmas, but I’m not complaining at all. A splendid Christmas to you, The Editor, Faith, and Bruce. Big hugs.
