  12. They’re adorable! I have an orange cat, though I think they/re called gingers now. So I got really creative with her name: Ginger.

    1. It’s good to see you, Viv. Haha, who knows? The names for everything keep changing. Growing up I only heard of “orange stripe” or orange tabby. Then I heard something calling them “marmalade tabbies” — I very much liked that because their stripes reminded clearly of orange marmalade. Nowadays I hear “orange” (especially in USA) as often as “ginger.” Anyhow I think it’s a cute name for your orange, marmalade, tiger tabby. 🐱 Hugs on owl wings.

  16. What a cutie! Splish Splash brings back many fond memories. One year, I decided to teach some of my students some partner dance moves to that song, which they performed at the school talent show. Such a blast!

    1. Hi John. It all started with me thinking that I was filming an epic Velma sneak attack… then realizing I hadn’t hit the right button, so just getting the tail end of it. Unfortunately I couldn’t persuade the Animoto video maker thing to keep the end of my video — which showed the most comical expression on Velma’s face. Yes, I wasted the entire morning trying to do a post with video — that I should have kept to one photo and been done with it. LOL.
