Before “part 2” of Atonement in Zugzwang, a break

Those of us who have been in the blog-verse for several years (or more) talk about the dreaded “summertime slump.”  It happens every year.  This year is no exception.  I realize that summer is almost over… However, many of us experienced a big decrease in followers, views, and comments throughout the past year or more.

It may seem strange to you, but one of the main reasons I blog is for the interaction of friendly comments.  My life being what it is, with my “stuff”, those comments mean more to me than they do to most other bloggers.  I’ve been having fewer than a third of the number that I used to have.  Part of me thinks “it’s me” — although others are experiencing the same.  So I try not to feel that way.

At any rate, we’ve reached a point in my current serial that (despite the fact that it’s purely “pantser”) I see as the end of book-1. Although I think we’re farther than halfway into the story.  Anyhow, that makes it a good time for me to step away for a while and let things begin to fall into place for what the second part of the story will be.  

So, I’m taking a short break from the serial, and from blog-verse in general.
