“You will be showered with good luch.”
No… that’s exactly what my fortune cookie said. Clearly there is a typo… but which is the real meaning?
At this point I think it’s more likely that the intended word was “lunch.” That makes no sense you say?
Well if I were showered in good lunch, the food would be rendered contaminated through raining down on my head, and doubtless falling everywhere except into a plate. It would in effect be wasted.
That is more likely than me being showered in the other possible typo — good luck.
So I’m waiting… with my umbrella upside down, so I can at least catch as much good lunch as I can when it begins to shower tasty food.
