Daaphne sits in window 2026-03-24

Daphne:  What’s that vibration?
Velma by screen 2026-03-24 Velma:  It’s either a big air tanker taking a water-bomb to the forest fire, or Yummy Human singing Karaoke, or… Oh! It might be her drum!

Daphne:  That’s not a plane.  I only like Yummy’s singing when she makes up kitty-cat songs with my name in them and sings them to me.  And that drum… no way.  I’m outta here.

Velma:  The drum case is empty!  Yummy Human has the steel-tongue drum.  Make way Yummy, here I come!

Oof!  Careful where you jump, Velma.

Velma:  C’mon, Yummy Human — give me that mallet so I can play the drum.
No… you always want to chew the wool part, Velma.  It doesn’t work very well with your slobbers on it.  Yep… just like you’re doing now.

Velma:  Don’t be such a prima donna, Yummy.  Fine then.  I’ll help you hold the drum.  Feet like so, right?  Just reach around me.  I’m not in the way.

Velma:  Ya know, Yummy… You might actually learn to play a song on this drum if you practiced more.  I can’t imagine why you don’t.

Velma:  I’m tired now.  Drumming is hard work.
