#Thanksgiving with the Scoobies

Vel-maa!  Daph-nee! Come here and wish everyone in the blog-verse a happy Thanksgiving. 

I’m thankful for each and every one here, whether or not you’re celebrating a holiday.  Daphne and Velma (the Scoobies) are grateful too, even though they show it in a different way.

Scoobies, for what are you thankful?

Velma:  I’m thankful for this bed.  I love it so much that I double the length of my naps.  It seemed to disappear all summer.  That’s strange…

It disappeared because you get lazy and won’t get out of it.  I’m beginning to think it should vanish again…

Daphne
Daphne

Daphne:  I’m thankful for the Amazon driver who brings the salmon.

Velma:  I miss Zack, the UPS man.  He was way cuter than these Amazon people.

Yes, Velma, I know you had a big crush on him.  He flirted back with you.  Now, aren’t you both thankful for everyone here.  Yes, I knew you were.  So, what do you Scoobies have to say?

Velma: Thanksgiving isn’t until tomorrow.

Daphne:  Where’s that salmon?

Sigh…

  1. I’m so late! But I knew if you had pics of the Scoobies I had to see them. I just got Bond a cat cave/sleeping bag (I’ve seen it called both). A covered wire holds it open, but he’ll only crawl inside if I’m holding it open even further. Other than that, he loves sleeping on top of it.

    1. There’s no such thing as late here. I appreciate all the time you’ve spent reading my posts today. That’s very kind of you. I realize there are many festivals in India this month. Despite the back and shoulder issues, I hope you’re able to enjoy them — at least some. Take care. 🙂

  3. Great and fun post!! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!! (We just got back from a couple of weeks in LA spending our Thanksgiving with our middle daughter, son-in-law and two of our 4 grandchildren!! The other two are up here in the Seattle area…along with our other two daughters and their husbands).

  12. Happy, happy Thanksgiving, Teagan and the Scoobies. I am celebrating this special day with you on my side of the border. I am truly grateful for our friendship, Teagan and for your wonderful, engaging stories that have added entertainment as well as knowledge. You were the one who introduced me to Steampunk!! Hugs and more hugs coming on speedy wings back your way.

    1. Oh, there was some rare feline discord, Dan — with Daphne backed into a corner complete with a few growls and a hiss. I’ve told Velma to make Daphne get more exercise, and she took that instruction to heart. LOL. I hope everyone there has had a nice holiday. Hugs.

  27. One track kitty minds. It’s sad when a fun and friendly driver disappears. I’m thankful for you with your wonderful creative stories, immense CGI talent, your beautiful voice, and your willingness to work with me on original songs and parodies. I’m thankful for Daphne and Velma, also.

    1. That’s a cool thing to know about you, Annika. With my “issues” I’ve always gotten most things delivered. It used to be almost always UPS, and back in DC I had a lot of stairs. So I was in the habit of giving the UPS drivers a Christmas gift — and tried to know their names. As things are now, I never know who will come to the door, and Amazon doesn’t seem to send the same person twice.
