Why Are the Frogs Silent?

(It’s funny… she reminds me of the Saffron H. Olmes character I wrote for Dan Antion’s Thursday Doors Writing Challenge.  Maybe that means she needs another story.)

Hop over to Tim Price’s blog where I’m visiting, and you’ll find out why the frogs are silent.

There’s an original song, written by Tim with him playing the music for the song and video.  His song and music with my vocals.  I hope you’ll join us at his post.  Here’s the link where you’ll find the song/video, and the rest of his fun post:

Please do leave a comment at Tim’s.  If that (above) isn’t enough for you… there are cats! So, head on over to play.  Hugs.

    1. Hi, Robbie. Thanks very much. I appreciate you listening and commenting. I hope you’ve had a good week. I gave myself permission to research a new story for Halloween, despite all the unfinished ones. LOL I’m on a real “bender.” Time to put it aside for now though. Hugs.

  1. Wow, Teag. Lady! What a beautiful voice. Stellar audio. I’m in joy 🥹 thanks for sharing this loveliness.

It must be too hot for the frogs 🐸 to even open their mouths.
You too. Take care with that heat wave that lingers. Bless you.

    1. You are so kind, Selma — thanks very much. We’ve finally cooled down to 90 degrees F (32.2 C), and gotten a couple of rain showers. Hoping the temperature doesn’t get froggy and hop back up to 100 where it’s been being. I appreciate you listening and commenting. Hugs.

      1. She keeps whispering about one, Dan. Unfortunately for Saffron, Daphnee Moultrie started getting really noisy about a story in time for Halloween. I’ve been researching all morning. Armenian mythology, Mt. Ararat, 1920s towns in East Feliciana Parish and their characteristics and capabilities, historian George Bancroft’s sisters & their “Clinton Female Academy.” Yeah… I’m on a real research bender! LOL. Hugs.

    1. I hope you got to relax and put your feet up last evening, Dan. Thanks for listening and visiting both blogs. I actually got a lot done yesterday too, and yet somehow none of the things that managed to take up the entire day included cleaning, weeds, or even working on books. How is that possible? I did get new, better cost car insurance set up though. (Shrugs)
I hope today is an easy day for you. Hugs.

    1. Thank you kindly, Pete. LOL, when I was very young, I was sort of a “pinch hitter” in the little choir at church or whatever might have been happening at my rural school — wherever they needed more bodies (voices) from men’s tenor, to alto, to soprano. Tim’s songs are in a lower range. He actually had to raise one by a third for me. Thanks for listening and commenting. Hugs.
