Break out the giggle water and join this shindig as I celebrate this pos-i-lutely fab review from author Teri Polen.
Lulu is one of my favorite characters. This snarky flapper always brightens my mood. Scroll down for a link to the rest of Teri’s swell post. You’re the cat’s pajamas!
Hullaba Lulu, a Dieselpunk Adventure is a wild and wooly 1920s fantasy story. Lulu, the heroine is inspired by the song, “Don’t Bring Lulu,” from 1925 ― so are her pals, Pearl and Rose. My Lulu loves to dance, and freely indulges in giggle water. She snores and burps and says whatever she wants. Lulu […]

Fantastic story and such a great video, Teagan. Loved it. The book title too is so beautiful.

I’m so happy you enjoyed it, Kamal. The title comes from a marvelous person who gave me inspiration back when the story was a blog serial. He opened the conversation (at a previous story) by telling me about a song his grandmother used to sing to him, called “Don’t Bring Lulu.” I used several elements in that song to develop the heroine’s character. It was a fun story to create. Thanks for visiting. Hugs on the wing!

You are always welcome dear Teagan and at times it takes just a person to tell you on any theme or song and your imagination works and one can start writing stories upon stories. Nice to hear that. Hugs to you too.

Great review, Teagan. And steam punk to boot! I’m just getting into that.

Thanks, Noelle. All the punk genres tend to have such snarky fun and imagination. There’s everything from steampunk to cyberpunk — and all sorts of punks in between. 😀 You’re the cat’s pajamas.

Love the video. I had to explain snarky to one person in the past week (sad). Snarky and spunky, never a funky is our gal. Wish I could meet her and be her pal. She’s always known to speak her mind And makes rude noises from her behind. Have a great midweek and looking forward to embarking on the Pearl this weekend (fingers crossed).

Hi Pat. I admit that’s surprising… Snarky is a word that most people seem to “feel”. I imagine it was hard to explain. Thanks for visiting. You’re the berries!

GP, I have a lot of fun making the videos. I really need to find time to make a new one for Dead of Winter too. Although with a series, doing any sort of promotion gets tricky, with the need to avoid spoilers… Thanks for your support. You’re the bee’s knees!
