Like hundreds of thousands of other people, I’m hard at work on National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
This year, I quickly saw that I had shared too much about my new story for NaNoWriMo. So, I am keeping this one close to the vest, even though it’s so very hard not to share the fun with everyone. Horsefeathers! It’s really hard not to talk about it!
Instead, I’ll give you this thought, that was in my email early this morning.

Life doesn’t happen to you… You happen to life!
Now I’m off to “WriMo-mo-mo!”
Thanks for visiting, my chuckaboos.

Hi Annika! I’m happy you enjoyed it. I’m going in spurts with the November novel. You know, some days it’s harder to write than others. But I still am happy with my story. Happy weekend hugs!

You too, dear Teagan. I did manage to write 3 000 words this week. My target for NOvember is 10 000 as 50 000 is impossible at such a busy time of year.

Robbie, I’ve always been astounded by all the many things you accomplish every single day. Adding 3000 words to what you already do is huge! I haven’t been able to produce the quality draft (regardless of word count) that I so dearly hoped for this year. I thought having my creativity-draining job out of the picture would help… and it did help. But I’m still working on other inner things that hold me back. I still like my story and concept. Although after I edit it, I’ll be lucky to have a novella left. You’re a marvel to do all that you do. Never forget that. Hugs on the wing.

No matter the time it is only what you accomplish that is important. Who cares about 50G? What you have is more words then you would have had if you had not done the program. Here take this dirty martini.

Wahhhh!
LOL.
But you’re right. Although now I’m torn about whether to include a saddled horse or a bull. Or even a pile of horse sh!# in the story… Hmmm… I think I actually could work with the horse poo. Happy hump day, Brad.

I actually had already been thinking of trying to bring a horse into the story (because of an image I saw). Although I was going to settle for a Mustang (car), LOL. But maybe it needs a Mustang that can poop. LOL.

I’ve hit a dry spot with my story though. Hugs on the wing!

Thanks. Read or work on something else. It’ll get the juices flowing again. This often happens about this time of the month during NaNo.

When all else fails, Teagan, fly away into fantasy!!

LikeLiked by 1 person
That’s great advice, GP. I remind myself that this is not a serial — I don’t have to write it in order, and I can go back and change whatever I want, to make it fit. (I’ve written so many serials, that I forget that.) Here’s to flights of fantasy!
