In the USA, today is Veterans Day — a day set aside to honor and remember all people who have been in the armed service. A respectful “Thank You.”
It’s also National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) day #11. Time to remember why we’re taking part in this insanity!
I’ve had theme songs to keep me going. Rebel Yell to help me write-mo-mo-mo! Stuck in the Middle with You to help me past the trauma of “OMG, what do I do with the middle of this novel?” Now we’re close to the halfway mark, and frankly, my mojo is running low. For a moment I wondered to myself why the heck I was doing this. “Teagan,” said self “You already know the answer to that.” And then “self” proceeded to turn on the inner music.
So I give you my Day-11 theme song…
Well, I’m not sure whose story I believe about how they met but they’ve got me wanting to be a paperback writer now. I wonder if that will come true? I hope you go your Mojo back Teagan. Try not to Drift Away like Dobie Gray again but carry on until you reach your Avalon like Roxy Music. Then maybe it can be A Wonderful Life ( Black) or even Feels Like Heaven ( Fiction Factory).

Dobie Gray might already be with me… because “day after day I’m more confused” …!
Good one, David. Thanks for the belly laugh.

Oh, how fabulous that you got to see the Fab Four in person! Paul McCartney was my first crush. LOL, I think I was six years old, but I was in love with Paul. 🙂

Thinking of all the veterans today, too. The video is great, Teagan. I remember when this song came out and I wanted to be one. (I saw “these guys” in person by the way.)
