Poetic Justice promo by Teagan

Welcome, everyone.  Yes, I said “cover reveal,” but no, this time it is not one of my books.  Recently, when Dan Antion asked me if I’d like to do the cover reveal for a book on which he has collaborated with Willow Willers, I was delighted to help.

Here’s the low down.

Dan Bio

Dan Antion grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dan is known for his previous books and his popular No Facilities, blog where he brings a snarky set of characters to life and shares photos of nature and architecture. Dan began his career as an author after forty-two years in business.

When he’s not writing, you can find him hiding in his wood shop or exploring with his camera.

Willow Bio

Willow, London born, now retired lives in Berkshire England with her husband and a procession of foster dogs. Mum of three boys and two beautiful grandsons, she shares her observations, poetry, prose and music at her blog willowdot21 where she says: “Writing poetry and prose has helped me a great deal, in fact I think it has saved my life.” And she adds: “I hope that you might see how the poetry is moving from very dark through the grey and hopefully into light.”

For this book, Willow needed to reconnect with the dark.

Here’s a hint about the book

Blurb

From the universe of the Rascal Todd mysteries, which feature a tenacious young reporter with an insatiable appetite for investigating crimes the authorities can’t solve or choose not to. For various reasons, she’s not being allowed to work this case the way she might like.

In this new volume, Poetic Justice, Trevor Barcroft enlists the help of crime and mystery writer Brody Thompson to

help solve his father’s murder — a murder the police and the FBI are ignoring.

Rascal Todd wants to help, but her editor keeps her away from the story. Why?

What was Wilson Barcroft doing at Gateway Park the night he was killed? Who’s responsible for the other murders that seem to be connected to Wilson’s

Consistent with previous books by this author, this is a character-driven story with an ensemble cast sharing their concern and a fair amount of often inappropriate humor. You’re sure to fall in love with some of them.

    1. Thank you kindly, Liz — I’m trying although it seems like one of those times when fate conspires against one. LOL. I’m sure I’ll get there.
Dan put a lot of thought into his book cover. I’m sure he appreciates the compliment Hugs.

I think co-writing has the potential to be a fun and satisfying experience.

    1. Thanks Resa. There’s so much about that war that has already been written, but so many people were hurt in ways you rarely hear about. I was fortunate to find someone who was also passionate about wanting to tell that story in a unique way.

  3. Hi Dan and Willow – fascinating to read about your collaboration … while the cover reminds me of the film ‘The Third Man’ – it’s been on my mind and will be shown here locally in early June – I hope to get to see it. Congratulations on working together and getting the book ready for publication – cheers to you both – Hilary

      1. I just tried to leave a comment on your post today and I was told that I couldn’t. I tried two more times, so either you have three of the same comment from me or none at all. Who can understand?
