I promise I’m here…  There are several pots on the fire.

I’m just trying to get caught up before one of those pots boils over.  Look for Journey 8 in a week.

Update:  I’m thrilled to see this wonderful review for “Journey 7, Revenant Pass” from Anita Dawes and Jaye Marie!

I promise I haven’t forgotten about the steampunk “retelling” I’m doing on Kindle Vella either.

Meanwhile, a “real world” gig came along.  I couldn’t refuse, especially when it helps a friend.  Besides… a girl’s gotta eat, that girl being Crystal, who needs her prescription cat food.  By the way, her 15th birthday is in a few days.  So even though it’s a little early, happy birthday to “the little bitty girl with the big meow.”

Have an easy coast down the other side of this midweek hump.  Now, I need to get to work.
Hugs on the wing!

  1. Happy birthday to your beautiful little girl, Teagan, and your covers are gorgeous. I’ll be writing a review on the first 4 in the near future, but I don’t write as fast as you do. 🙂 💕

    1. LOL. Oops? Sorry about that Robbie. But seriously, I’m happy that you enjoy the covers.
I know that if anyone can relate to the need to tell all those stories, it’s you. Anything anybody says, just in passing, is likely to turn into a story with me. It’s hard to resist the impulse. Then when the “shoulds” add their pressure… Well, you know — there’s another WIP starting. 😀 Huge hugs.

  2. Happy Birthday, Crystal!
You sure have a lot going on, Teagan. I look forward to seeing what you’ve come up with when it’s ready 🙂 xo

        1. Haha. I love it! The part of my brain that comes into use for this kind of “full-on pantser” spontaneous writing is crouching in a corner somewhere. I need to lure it out so it can get to work. July was really difficult with my “issues” — and I don’t want to let August get away with the same stuff. Once I find my connection with the narrator I’ll get rolling. I hope.
          Hugs.

  3. Happy Birthday Crystal! You have such unique markings. You sure don’t look 15. Wishing you many more birthdays and good health and a never ending supply of catnip.

  4. Happy Birthday Crystal 🎉🎂🍸 (the martini is for Teagan).

Your lull has actually been well timed. With projects and travel, I’ve had a hard time keeping up with blogs and books. July/August are tough.

I hope you have a great week.

    1. Lull… yes that’s a much better way for me to think of it, Dan — thank you. Just a lull. 🙂
Crystal sends you a purr and a paws up to fellow black & white kitties, MiMi and MuMu. Haha, thanks for the martini! Maybe I’ll put catnip in a martini glass for Crystal. Welcome back from your mini vacation. Hugs on the wing!

  6. Happy Birthday, Crystal! I’m running behind as well, but hopefully, now I’m back home, I’ll manage to catch up, as Journey 7 should be my next read. Stay well, Teagan!
