Announcing a new page at Teagan’s Books…

You are not mistaken — the title and author name are missing from the cover above.  For several months, I’ve been creating a collection of book cover designs.  I’ve finally gotten up the nerve to offer them.

Designed and ready, these covers have their own page here at this blog.  (I might eventually make a second blog for them).  The page is now live.  Or you can click here.   You’ll find that I have a full portfolio at the link, covers for any mood or genre.  Here’s one more example.

I hope you’ll click over and browse around. There are nine categories.  Currently the portfolio includes 38 unique cover designs.

Also, don’t forget — Winter is coming!

Wishing you an easy coast down the other side of this midweek hump.

Hugs on the wing!

  1. Saw you at Thurs. Doors … what a great accomplishment and brave to put yourself to a new challenge! I like the wolf in front one the best – it takes you immediately in the book. Really a big congrats:) Jesh

    1. It’s great to see you, Jesh! Ah, the wolf. I’m delighted you like that one. It’s the cover for my upcoming series of novelettes, Dead of Winter. However, the others are available.
When PTSD stuff gets the better of me, working with images is soothing. So, I guess the COVID Apocalypse has given me one positive thing — a portfolio of book covers.
Thanks so much for your encouragement. Hugs on the wing!

        1. Hi Miriam. Yes, thanks. I’m not sure about offering custom work, but I am providing these covers (of course with one’s book title and name added). Anyone who is interested can contact me by email or at Facebook. Or, of course with a comment here, assuming their blog email is good to use.

    1. I see at least one story in any of the covers. So, I think others might see the story they’ve written as well. For me, an image of just a girl might be pretty, but it does little to begin a story. On the other hand, if she is looking down at something, or twirling in her full-skirted evening gown, she must be thinking about something… and there begins the story.
Thanks for visiting and for your encouragement. Hugs on the wing!

  2. I think this is a great idea, and they are so well done. They are imaginative and the quality is very high. I hope this venture goes well. Although I can’t imagine writing a horror story, I love the haunted house. I think my fav (so far) is the girl on the foggy road you featured year.

Here’s hoping your week goes well. Hugs on the wing Teagan!

    1. Heartfelt thanks, Dan. LOL, that house is delightfully creepy. Writing even a little vignette in a genre we don’t usually write is a great exercise. You can write about suspense so you could write about horror. Maybe I should send out a Lovecraftian challenge. 😀 Hugs on the wing.

  3. Congratulations, Teagan! I’m sure they’ll do well. Thanks for sharing with us and best of luck. Big hugs (and I didn’t have any problem seeing all the images, just in case you wonder).
