Laughter, they say, is the best medicine.  So, wouldn’t be even better when something makes you snort?

I write all sorts of stories.  I’ve been told that I do some genre mash-ups.  However, there’s one thing you can count on with my stories — whimsy.  In the universe of Atonement, Tennessee, maybe in any of my story-verses, the most whimsical volume is The Glowing Pigs — Snort Stories of Atonement, Tennessee.

It’s been hard for me to keep my spirits up during this pandemic.  I know I’m certainly not the only one.  Everybody could use a little “snort.”  So, this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday only, the Kindle version of this collection of short stories is free!

Dyanna Wyndesong gave the collection this wonderful review.  It made spirits soar for Deme and Honeybell — and especially me!

Fun and funny. Glowing pigs visit the little town of Atonement, Tennessee bringing their own brand of quirky magic to a town already steeped in magic. This wonderful little book give you a glimpse of the magic that Deme and Honeybell create and a quick peek at some of the residents of Atonement. It is a quick entertaining read guaranteed to bring a smile a snort and even giggle.

Here’s an Amazon universal link (all countries) for the Kindle version of this collection of “snorts”   rxe.me/LTBDNH

Information about the rest of the Atonement, TN universe is below.  Have a snortin’ good rest of the week.  Be well, be happy.  Hugs on the wing!

  1. These pigs are so sweet. I have a friend in SL who awards people snerks if they make her laugh hard enough that she metaphorically snorts milk up and out her nose. She told me on Friday that she had awarded more snerks to me than anyone else. I claim to have snerkability as a talent. Snerk is an amazingly adaptable word. I think that snerks and snorts are closely related.

  2. You’re so sweet, Teagan. I’m having a hard time with this too. It’s scary and so terribly tragic. Blogging has been hard. I don’t feel like myself and I don’t want to spread around the gloom. This post made me smile though. Thanks for the snort! ❤ <3.

    1. Diana, you do so much for all of us. I’m happy I could give you a smile. I hope we’ll all be happy and sassy again soon — or at least figure out how to be so, in whatever our new normal turns out to be. Hugs on the wing.

  4. Teagan, thanks for the free Kindle of your snortin’ book!
I clicked the link, signed in but I couldn’t seem to get it delivered unless I signed up for Unlimited, for a free trial.
This is part of what I hate about Amazon. I have been boycotting them for 2 years (after spending mucho $$ on their platform)
You offer it for free, but they add a caveat.
    I’d love to read it.
Just want you to know, I tried!
    You are a wonderful writer.

    1. I should have known there’d be a problem, Resa. That is the only book I’ve put on their “unlimited” thing. I didn’t realize it would do that. Sigh… Live and learn I guess. Thanks for letting me know. Could I send you a PDF? Hugs.

    1. Dear Lavinia, thank you so very much. (And thanks for using the word “kind” rather than “sweet,” which can send me off the deep end. LOL).
Yes, it gives one hope to see the flowers bloom. I know it must be beautiful at Salmon Brook Farm. Be well, be happy. Hugs on the wing!

      1. I prefer “kind” myself. 🙂

Two more days and my new strawberry plants will be here. Their new home is ready to receive them, and I have small enclosures set up to keep them warm (and the critters at bay). Two more months of possible frosts to go. 🙂

  6. How incredibly generous of you Teagan. While you’re going through the same stress and angst as we are, you’re thinking of some way to help us through. Amazing! Laughter and whimsy are a welcome relief from the chaos that surrounds us.

Thank you my friend. You are a good person.

    1. Thank you kindly, Ginger. Robert Ingersoll said “We rise by lifting others.” It always helps me if I think I might be helping someone else. This a very small book, with a big amount of silliness. Deme and Honeybell are a couple of porcine pranksters! Be well, be happy. Hugs on the wing!

    1. Haha! It’s not my best video, but it was fun — and that was the main thing. Deme, in particular gives Sheriff Robin a heck of a time. Deme and Honeybell are a couple of porcine pranksters! Be well, be happy. Hugs on the wing!

  7. Thanks, Teagan. A very generous offer. We’ve been confined for over 10 days here and counting. I’m busy with my studies but it’s impossible not to get stressed. Take lots of care.

    1. Robbie, you’re so very kind to share this post. Having the family at home sure makes more work, huh? Be sure to make time for rest and be good to you. After all, what would they do without you? Great big hug right back. ❤
