Where Is The Delta Pearl?

delta-pearl-cover-1
The Delta Pearl book cover created by Teagan R. Geneviene

Where is the riverboat?  The Delta Pearl should be here, but she has been delayed.

Does it have something to do with that “smudgy sooty cloud”?  Did matchmaking Agate run the boat aground to throw Emmeraude and Victor together?  Maybe Obsidian got jealous of the two and came up with some thing of his own? Or maybe the Dealer’s cat, Sir Reggie knocked the navigation charts off the table.

The real story is that I’m busy getting Thistledown – Midsummer Bedlam ready to launch. Buddy, I’m getting ready, ready, ready for the takeoff!

The Delta Pearl will be back next weekend.

Thanks for visiting, my chuckaboos.

    1. Thank you, Kirt. I should have saved time somewhere to write the next chapter. I thought I could get to it tomorrow, but the friend from the next town just called and offered to help with some handy-man type things — tomorrow. So the Pearl might be later than expected… Not sure.
Merry Christmas to you and yours too, my friend. And Meowy Catmouse to the kitties.

    1. Dear Sue, it’s so good to see you. Winter finally came to the high-desert. For the past couple of weeks it was 10 degrees (F) warmer than November, being in the low 60s. However, at 7AM this morning it was 23 degrees! Burrr! 😀 Highs this week in the 40s and low 50s. That’s my kind of winter.
I am launching the book version of Thistledown Midsummer Bedlam” tomorrow. Lots of imagination there. Wishing you a wondrous holiday season too. Hugs on the wing!

        1. The high desert definitely gets its cold nights. Yesterday at 7AM it was -5C, but it usually warms up nicely during the day and the sunshine makes a world of difference.
Due to my “issues” I was not able to keep working at a regular job. So I don’t get a holiday break. Write, write, write, edit, edit, edit. But that’s fine by me. 😀 Stay warm, my friend and have a lovely holiday season.

  2. Teagan, I don’t know how you keep all of this straight. I’ll be patient and wait until next Saturday to connect with the Delta Pearl and all its inhabitants! BUT, if I wind up going bonkers waiting, that’s on YOU!! LOL.

Good luck with this latest venture.

    1. How? The handy dandy “character matrices” I make in Excel for every story. LOL. But I’m really serious. The particular way I use Word to show myself notes and outline along with my character/stroy matirx saves my sanity. What’s left of it. 😉 Thanks for visiting, my chuckaboo!

    1. Thanks so much, Michael. That means a lot to me. I was going to save myself trouble and keep my Thistledown cover from 2 years ago. But I wasn’t satisfied with the text placement. Then I decided to add the oval design too… A beautiful weekend to you too. Big hug!

    1. I always end up making more work for myself, Dan. The decision to book-ize this serial came as suddenly as the one about Brother Love. At first I was just going to be simple — just asking folks to reblog. Then I started wanting to make character profiles for those who promised to help… I think it’s important to get the book out there this coming week. So I guess I’ll scale back on the number of character intros. I’ve done a few (including one for you), but I think I should focus on the actual launch post now. o_O Sorry — just trying to organize my thoughts. It’s relatively early here. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Hi Christoph. I was happy to find that video. The original (as far as I know) was the closing theme for an anime show. The guys in this hint at that animated version with the archetecture of the set and the choreography as well. I don’t know if it is the same singer, but if not, then the voices are extremely similar. I just love that song. Hugs on the wing!

  3. Things are always getting in the way of other things. It seems like there are always too many things going on all at once. Ready, set, go go go with “Thistledown – Midsummer Bedlam”.
