Where the heck is Teagan?  More importantly, where is The Delta Pearl?

This weekend, I’m taking a break to work on National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

However, here’s a little teaser from The Delta Pearl’s chapter for next weekend.  If you missed the most recent episode of The Delta Pearl, you can find it here.

My jewelry box sat on the vanity next to the brush and mirror set.  I opened it, intent on wearing my cameo necklace.  It looked exactly like the necklace the woman in the old portrait wore.  Naturally whenever I looked at the cameo I thought of the painting and the ever so familiar looking woman who was its subject.  Once again I tried to figure out in what other painting I may have seen the model, or to whom she bore such a strong resemblance.  However, the answer continued to elude me.

More on that next weekend. Althouth there’s plenty of reading material available from the multifaceted Universe of Teagan.

Pre-Holiday Sale!

I’ll stop working on my NaNoWriMo project long enough to say that all of my ebooks are now at a pre-holiday sale price.  You can see everything at once by clicking this “universal link” (all countries) to my Amazon Author Page (I added a list of all the links at the end of this post if that’s easier.) My urban fantasy series set in Atonement, Tennessee is there.  Those are magical stories set in the present.

That also includes the e-book of Brother Love — a Cross RoadYou can get it by clicking here.  It’s a Twilight Zone-ish story set in 1950s Mississippi.

If the Roaring Twenties are more to your taste, I book-ized the most recent story, which was published just this September.  I tried to honor as many other writers during my launch as possible, but A Ghost in the Kitchen got lost in the process. It went unnoticed. That wasn’t the cat’s pajamas at all.  So, that will be the last story for Pip and Granny.  Say goodbye Pip.

Anyhow, what I’m talking about is the trio of cozy Roaring Twenties mystery-speculative fiction books featuring my girl-next-door flapper, and her quirky friends.

Maybe this weekend, I will accomplish something with my new story for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).  Now I’m off to “WriMo-mo-mo!”

  1. Teagan, I don’t know how you keep your head above water with the schedule you maintain. I don’t think you can call what you’re on a “break”. A break would be kicking back, hanging out, and watching your cactus grow! You’ve just traded one writing tornado for another! But clearly it’s what keeps your heart pumping and your brain cells thriving, and we’re the beneficiaries of all that talent.

Good luck with your writing. Thanks for the teaser. I still think that portrait is Emeraude’s mother or grandmother. But who knows with you at the helm?!! 🤗

    You got this Teagan!

  2. I don’t think the Delta Pearl minds staying out of the limelight for a week, as long as it’s for a good cause. Enjoy the “break” i.e. time to work on your next project 😉

I hope you have a great weekend.

  3. This post is a doozie, Teagan! I’ll have to put it in my favorites, you know I live my days perpetually behind schedule. If I had my druthers, I’d get a firkin full of ale and sit down to read each of your books immediately, but how far behind I am in reading boggles the mind!!
Can’t wait to see the finished product for your latest NaNoWriMO!!

    1. You’re so kind, GP. LOL, I really did add a “violet” colored Japanese fighter plane. (I know the real ones weren’t painted that color, just a quick way to indicate the real thing. I decided to name it George, to make it more recognizable.) It’s buzzed over a few times so far. 😉 Hugs on the wing.

      1. I am loving it here. How about you in your new home? Except now I have caught a bug and a cold from #1 Grandson in the space of 3 weeks! Good thing I’m sending hugs cause you wouldn’t want to be near me today, all coughy, sneezy, and achy. XX

        1. Oh no… that kind of thing is so miserable. I’m sorry.
Yes, I love where I am. I’m particularly excited about the weather at this time of year. For the first time in more than a decade, I’m not in dread of winter weather. LOL. Granted it was kind of hot in the summer, but as long as there’s an air conditioner. The east coast is unbearable at that time of year with out AC too, so… Feel fabulous fast, my friend. Great big hug.
