Hello everyone.  Welcome to my sanctuary.

Now that Brother Love has concluded, I didn’t want you to think I had given you the shaft.  I’m here with some clues about what’s coming next here at Teagan’s Books. 

Go Back — Jack. That’s only the subtitle of the song, but it’s the biggest hint.

Call for Random Things!

You don’t have to know what I have in mind to leave a random “thing” to drive the next story.  However, please limit your description of the thing to 2 words.

These also need to be non-technology things.  It will be a Victorian Era-ish setting.  Yes, I mean steampunk.  Have you guessed yet?  Here’s one more hint.

Unless you’ve been following for quite awhile, I guess this didn’t make much sense.

  4. I read all of Brother Love last night, Teagan. I just loved the magic. Review coming. And Oh Good, another one on the way. Here’s a thing (and I won’t change my mind this time. Ha ha). How about… tap shoes. 🙂

  16. It might take me a while to mesh Steeley Dan, a jacka-lope, and the Victorian Era, but I’ll work on it (haha don’t expect much). But you always have good ideas, so if it works – don’t fix it – go back Jack.

    1. Thank you for your enthusiasm, Robbie! ❤ Indeed jewelry was popular with the Victorians. The pioneers in the USA made it too (similar time-frame). They didn't waste anything. They made artworks with hair as well as jewelry, some of it very intricate and beautiful. Or young girls would make a narrow braid combining the two friend's hair as friendship rings or bracelets. Hugs on the wing!

  22. When I was 11 years old we used to explore an abandoned mine in Placitas on the north end of the Sandias. We would take old cactus stems and stuff them with pitch from the cedar and piñon trees to make torches. We would get down about four levels trying to find access to the lower eight levels that supposedly had been closed off after the mine’s managers left the bodies of Indians they had supposedly worked to death in the lower levels of the mine. I’m sure it was all folklore, but it piqued the imaginations of 11 year old boys. Exploring old mines was dangers and scary, but we kept going “back Jack” and doing it again and again. When I look back on my youth, it’s a wonder I survived.

    I love Steely Dan, but for some reason I had never seen them perform. I used to watch the Midnight Special when I was a teenager, but I missed the one you posted.
