I was so impulsive in deciding to quickly “bookize” the serial that I didn’t plan ahead for a launch or promotions.  So I begin by repeating my thanks to Sally G. Cronin for announcing Brother Love – a Crossroad at her blog earlier this week.

My weekend post included a give away of an e-book of the novella.  I numbered your comments and used a random number generator to select the winner.

    1. You are so kind. Thanks Jan. I think and hope you will enjoy going over the story with all the chapters and little clues together ❤. Since it is spontaneously written, I had to be very subtle in laying the groundwork for the ending — because I wasn’t sure what would happen, week to week. But they’re there! 😀 Hugs on the wing!

    1. LOL, I actually was too, Dan. This is the first serial that I put into my book format as I wrote it. Of course each posted chapter was proofed and edited before going live, but I went back and did that a couple of times, Then converting the print file to the kindle file was quick work. One of the composite images I had already made looked like the right book cover to me, so that was a quick adjustment too. A few days work, but it still seemed fast. Thanks for visiting.   26. Congratulation to Dyanna Wyndesong. I listened to 20 minutes of your interview. I’ll have to go back later to finish it. The first 20 minutes were great. I like your voice. You still have a slight southern accent, which makes your story telling really fun to listen to. You would do well to narrate if you ever go to audio books. I think that is so cool you were on Annette Rochelle Aben’s podcast, which is as cool as getting on the cover of the Rolling Stone.

    1. Even though it’s late, I went back and finished listening to the podcast. Book cover design is interesting and challenging. One set of tools you should look at if you don’t have them already is Affinity Photo, Design and Publisher. All three are inexpensive, high quality photo, graphic and publishing tools. I see you covered your desire to narrate audio books further into the podcast. You would be wonderful at it. Too bad life got in the way of narrating one of Olga’s books. It’s kind of funny and so indicative of life, that you intended to write fantasy more like Tolkien, I believe you said, but ended up with the different styles and uses of fantasy that you have produced. Your interview was fun to listen to, enlightening about a few aspects of your life of writing, working and writing around working. It’s always nice to hear the voice to a blogger I’ve followed for years.

      1. Tim, I really appreciate all the time you spent with the podcast — as well as all your support.
        Yes, high fantasy was my calling as an author for many years. If anyone told me I would start writing Roaring Twenties stories, I wouldn’t have believed it. I suppose, marketing wise, I should stick with one precise genre. However, for now, I’m writing the stories that come to me, be they 1920s, steampunk, magic realism, or what. Have a wonderful rest of the week. Hugs on the wing.

        1. Sticking to a single genre be art, writing, music, photography, etc. can get kind of boring. Different styles spices things up, and make life more interesting. Of course that comes from a guy who wears all black all the time. Otherwise, I like to mix it up a bit (except for clothing colors), and I like it when other people mix it up as well.

    3. Tim, that’s so kind of you — I really appreciate it. I say my accent comes and goes. It comes out more when I’m playful, so it’s a testament to Annette’s skill as an interviewer that you heard it easily. For the snippets I’ve narrated of Brother Love, I deliberately laid it on extra thick. It seemed to fit the story.
      Of course, you’ve also put a song in my head. 😉
